KUALA LUMPUR, 24 July 2008 — Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad today launched two new variants in their VONO® instant soup line, providing consumers with a wider variety of flavours for a wholesome delicious breakfast. The new Potato and Potato Mushroom variants are the firsts in the VONO® instant soup line to be enriched with soy milk, an excellent source of high quality proteins and vitamins, for added nutrition and great taste.

The exclusive launch was held at a rustic spa hideaway in the middle of bustling Kuala Lumpur. Guests were treated to a generous sampling of the full VONO® instant soup range, as well as a scrumptious breakfast and some personal pampering from complimentary massages courtesy of the venue. The launch included a special appearance by Prince Court Medical Centre’s Chief Dietitian, Datin Farah DiBa Khan, who gave a short talk about the importance of breakfast in one’s daily regime.

Touted as an excellent choice for breakfast, VONO® instant soup are made from wholesome natural ingredients such as mushrooms, chicken, corn, potatoes, soy beans, milk and cheese to give consumers the balanced nutrition essential to start a fresh new day.
